The Bun Shop is expanding to the county.

The coffee and pastry shop will open a third outpost at 40 W. Chesapeake Avenue in downtown Towson across from the planned $350 million Towson Row development, according to a release from commercial real estate firm Cushman and Wakefield.

Owner Minh Vo opened his original location in 2012 at 239 W. Read Street in Mount Vernon, and added a second one at 22 Light Street in the Inner Harbor last April. His stores serve up an eclectic mix of delicious pastries, from desserts to pork buns and empanadas, and offer late hours designed for the remote-working coffee drinker. (The one in Mount Vernon stays open until 3 a.m. seven days a week.)
