The newly constructed Dollar General store in Shacklefords has been sold for $1.42 million, according to Norfolk-based S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co., which represented the buyer.
929 Associates LLC purchased the property from Par 5 Development. Nathan Shor, senior vice president and regional director of S.L. Nusbaum’s Richmond office, represented 929 Associates LLC, owned by brothers Glenn and Steve Payne. Shor also assisted in the sale of the brothers’ former property, Woody’s Auto Service, located at 929 Myers St. in Richmond, which facilitated this acquisition with a 1031 tax-free exchange.
