If making it as a professional wrestler requires Tehuti Miles to work in flea markets, bingo halls and even less glamorous locales, he's willing to do it.

This makes sense when you consider that such a life would still be far more pleasant than trekking through a 125-degree desert in the Middle East while scouring for bombs.

Before the New Jersey native was ever cleared to walk on to the Maryland football roster in 2013, he had already accomplished more (in human terms) than any athlete will in their lives. Miles enlisted in the Army out of high school and served a tour in Afghanistan, where he lost friends and came close to his own death.
