Following an ambitious growth/merger plan that includes boosts to programming, local-TV titan Sinclair Broadcast Group (SBGI -5%) has set new leadership in its unit overseeing children's/family programming.
The company named Daniel Barnathan its VP of Family and Children's Programming and Sales, and will launch "KidsClick," a daily national program block, on Saturday, July 1.
Jonathan Dern was named executive producer for KidsClick, and Barnathan will have direct oversight. The block will be distributed to 75M U.S. homes.
