6/18/17

SACRAMENTO, Calif. & CLAREMONT, N.H. & RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Red River, a technology transformation company, announced today that it has acquired Sacramento, California-based Natoma Technologies, a technical consulting firm and systems integrator specializing in software and application development. With this acquisition, Red River can now offer services across the full spectrum of technology – from selling and integrating technology infrastructure to developing software and custom applications to lifecycle services and support.

“Red River is extremely impressed with the technical competencies and innovative approach that has made Natoma a go-to choice for custom development solutions for the State of California and others,” said Jeff Sessions, CEO for Red River. “Development has been one of the areas we targeted to add capacity – more often, we find our customer’s big business and mission challenges have software solutions – and now we can engage in that transformational moment.”

Red River expands its capabilities and geographic footprint with the addition of the Natoma team, resources and offices in Sacramento, Calif. Natoma helps clients leverage commercially available technologies and develop custom solutions to improve work processes, reduce costs and enhance service levels. Natoma specializes in making government work more effectively, solutions that have the potential to integrate and scale within Red River’s federal government customer base.

“Natoma is excited to become part of Red River, an organization that shares our values and commitment to quality,” said Natoma President and CEO Martin McGartland. “By joining with Red River, we can scale our infrastructure, management team, corporate structure, services and solution offerings to better meet our customers’ technology needs. It will allow us to focus on what we do best: solving complex problems with innovative applications and software solutions.”

The purchase of Natoma is continuing with Red River’s long-term growth strategy, which included the acquisition of Boston-based Accunet Solutions last year. Over the past five years, Red River has steadily increased annual revenues, expanded its geographic footprint, headcount and customer base, earned multiple OEM awards and has overseen a strategic yet substantial expansion of its contract portfolio, which is valued at more than $125 billion. Natoma’s contracts with the State of California open Red River to opportunities within in the sixth largest economy in the world, behind U.S., China, Japan, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Natoma will operate as Red River’s Enterprise Application Division with McGartland assuming the role of the division’s President, reporting to Red River’s COO Dan McGee.
