The walls at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Alexandria office are a little more colorful this month. The office is proud to host the Art 4 Kids show, a Mount Vernon-based art program founded by Angie Gaydos.

“We couldn’t wait to host this year’s show,” said Rachel Carter, branch vice president at Coldwell Banker’s Alexandria office. “In addition to the fact that Art 4 Kids is a great way for kids to have fun and be creative, the colors and dynamic compositions really brighten the office space and our moods. All of the agents thoroughly enjoy the art and we are constantly amazed at their level of talent.”

The program provides local kids with a chance to learn artistic techniques and improve their skills. This year’s show, which run through June 18, will raise money for United Community Ministries (UCM) of Alexandria, an organization dedicated to serving vulnerable children, youth and families in the Mount Vernon area.
