Wang will play an integral role in cross-border deal execution with strategic and financial Asian buyers and will work collaboratively with the firm’s 10 Industry Groups and Somerley Group, a boutique M&A advisory services firm with offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong with which Harris Williams & Co. has an exclusive relationship as part of its global network.

Wang began his investment banking career in 2001 in New York. He has extensive cross-border M&A experience having been based in New York, London and Hong Kong. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Wang led Citi’s Asia Pacific consumer and retail investment banking business in Hong Kong with a significant focus on sourcing and executing U.S./Asia and Europe/Asia transactions. Throughout his career, he has advised clients from a number of different countries on sales and acquisitions including China Resources and Bright Food Group headquartered in China, Lotte Co., Ltd headquartered in Korea, KKR & Co. L.P. headquartered in New York, Heineken headquartered in the Netherlands and Matrix Laboratories Limited headquartered in India.
