Recently, Lifschitz was lead trial counsel in the Silver Spring Transit Center litigation, a case that garnered much attention in the local and national press. Lifschitz’s client, Foulger-Pratt Contracting LLC, served as the general contractor for a $90 million project and was being sued for millions of dollars by plaintiff Montgomery County, Md. After three weeks of trial, the state of Maryland agreed to pay Foulger-Pratt $3 million in settlement of all claims against and between Foulger Pratt and the county.
