Global public relations leader Porter Novelli strengthens its public affairs and consumer technology capabilities through the addition of two senior vice presidents in key roles in Washington, D.C. and Seattle.

Tara Greco joined Porter Novelli on May 1 to lead the public affairs and corporate communications team in Washington, D.C. In this role, Greco will provide strategic counsel and expertise across the agency's broad portfolio of public affairs and corporate communications assignments. Prior to joining Porter Novelli, Greco was the director of communications for the National Basketball Players Association, where she managed the union's communications strategy to amplify its position and mission. Previously, she was the director of sustainability communications for Walmart, driving the company's sustainability narrative and reputation. Earlier in her career, Greco held senior communications positions at both Deloitte and APCO Worldwide, where she supported clients including Target, Capital One and UPS.

"Tara brings an incredible range of talent and expertise to our Porter Novelli team and our clients," said Jennifer Swint, President of North America. "Her diverse experience in corporate board rooms, non-profits, labor unions and agencies will bring an invaluable combination of insights and perspective to our clients."

Eric Villines joined Porter Novelli's Seattle office on March 27 and leads the agency's work on behalf of T-Mobile. Villines also provides senior counsel and expertise to the agency's regional technology practice and is on the leadership team of the Seattle office. Prior to joining Porter Novelli, Villines was a vice president and led global communications for the smartphone manufacturer, Meitu. Prior to that, he was a senior vice president and deputy consumer technology practice lead at MWWPR, where he oversaw the Samsung Mobile relationship. Villines spent five years at Burson Marsteller as the brand marketing lead for the Southwest United States, providing counsel to clients such as Miller Brewing and Merrill Lynch.

"Eric is a tremendous addition to our technology practice and our Seattle team," said Swint. "His deep expertise in both technology and consumer make him the ideal strategic lead for our T-Mobile relationship as well as our broader technology practice portfolio."
