It has been an injury filled fantasy baseball season, with the latest development being Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun heading to the disabled list again with a calf injury. Braun only lasted four days after being activated before aggravating the injury. The veteran has played well when healthy, but it appears he will be sidelined for at least a couple weeks.
Fantasy owners did receive good news this week, as Boston Red Sox ace David Price will return May 29 from an elbow injury that has kept him out all season. I'm probably going to be more cautious than most owners and not use Price until he proves he's healthy and productive. That could mean one start or maybe two or three, but I'm not confident the left-hander can immediately pitch at a high level, and I don't want a bad start or two to hurt me in the pitching standings.
