Former Raven Matt Elam Arrested On Battery And Grand Theft Larceny Charges

Former Ravens safety Matt Elam has been arrested for the second time in three months after a dispute with his girlfriend, further putting in doubt any chance the former first-round pick can resume his disappointing NFL career.

According to Palm Beach County, Fla., police records, Elam was charged May 22 with battery and grand theft larceny of an amount between $300 and $5,000 and was being held on $4,500 bond.
TMZ.com reported the arrest came after Elam, 25, had a dispute with his girlfriend in Delray Beach, Fla., at about 4 a.m.
