BluVector Names Travis Rosiek Chief Technology and Strategy Officer

ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BluVector, a leader in network security monitoring and analytics, today announced that Travis Rosiek has been appointed Chief Technology and Strategy Officer. With extensive cybersecurity experience at organizations including FireEye and McAfee, and with his credentials as a noted security evangelist, Rosiek’s arrival supports the company’s momentum to bring advanced threat detection to the enterprise at digital speed.

Rosiek is a highly accomplished cyber defense executive, having led several commercial and U.S. government programs. He is known for developing and executing strategic plans to build the technical capacity of a company across product development, quality assurance, technical marketing, professional services and sales engineering.

Prior to joining BluVector, Rosiek served as CTO at Tychon LLC (formerly CloudHASH Security), an endpoint management platform, where he was responsible for product innovation and professional services and remains as a strategic advisor. Before his work at Tychon, he held several senior roles with prominent security companies including McAfee and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). He also served as Federal CTO at FireEye, working to ensure that FireEye was properly positioned to meet the diverse set of requirements across the U.S. federal government and helped FireEye dramatically grow their Federal business. Rosiek is also an ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a member of multiple task forces and advisory committees including the President's NSTAC Big Data and Analytics Subcommittee and the Emerging Technology Subcommittee, DoD's Network Improvement Tiger Team (NITT), DoD CIO Metrics Working Group as well as a contributor on the Cybersecurity Workforce Handbook.
