Helayne Spivak, who has been the executive director of the Virginia Commonwealth University Brandcenter since 2012, is stepping down from her role, VCU announced.
Spivak will remain in her role until a new executive director of VCU’s internationally respected graduate-level advertising school has been appointed. She also will assist with the transition.
“Now is the time to pass the reins to the next leader to help continue the growth of this extraordinary school and its exceptional students,” Spivak said in a statement. “The Brandcenter offers one of the most respected graduate programs in the country for branding, and I intend to help it lead the way in diversity.”
