Markus Garvey Joins Maryland Public Television’s Corporate Support Team

Maryland Public Television (MPT) announced the addition of Markus Garvey to its corporate support team as an account executive. In this role, Garvey is responsible for securing corporate sponsorships and partnerships for PBS and MPT programming and initiatives.

Before joining MPT, Garvey served as a senior account manager at WCMB 680 AM. He previously held sales positions with CBS Radio in Baltimore, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment in Florida, and spent nearly a decade working in the health insurance industry. Earlier in his career, Garvey served in marketing and sales positions with CBS Inc./Westwood One and ABC Network/Disney Inc., both in California.

Garvey is an alumnus of University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in radio, television and film. He is a resident of Parkville, Maryland.
