Fallston boys' lacrosse head coach Matt Parks sets simple goals for his team: focus on the game in front and get better each day.

So far, his players have heeded that advice.

Since losing to national power Boys' Latin March 28, the Cougars have reeled off eight consecutive victories. A tough nonconference schedule has kept Fallston battletested for league play in the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference, where it already beat rival Bel Air, 8-6, April 28.

"It's always a bonus to be able to schedule a tough out-of-conference schedule," Parks said. "It gives us the opportunity to get a good picture of our strengths and weaknesses heading into conference play."
