Fantasy Baseball Waiver-Wire Watch: April 27, 2017

As the first month of the season comes to a close, fantasy owners can start to see the strengths and weaknesses of their roster. I always preach the importance of the waiver wire and how sometimes the players we add may only help our team for a week or two. However, that week could go a long way in helping our team in the long run.

Waiver-Wire Targets:

Los Angeles Angels Reliever Bud Norris -- One of the top rules in fantasy baseball is never let a pitcher who is picking up saves remain on the wavier wire. Norris is currently the closer for the Angels due to Cam Bedrosian landing on the disabled list with a right groin strain. Norris has already been used in the ninth inning and has picked up four saves. The veteran should continue to be used in this role during the next week or so, until Bedrosian returns. Norris is less than 30 percent owned in Yahoo! Sports leagues, which blows my mind. Take advantage of this and benefit throughout the next week or so by picking up a couple of saves.
