Alex is a seasoned patent trial attorney having represented top technology companies as lead counsel in bet-the-company disputes before district courts, the United States International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Federal Circuit. His addition complements the firm's current litigation roster and provides much-needed depth, as the firm's Litigation and PTAB practices are increasingly sought out to manage parallel proceedings before the courts and the United States Patent and Trademark Office Patent Trial & Appeal Board (PTAB).

Prior to joining Oblon, Alex has served in various leadership roles at other prestigious global law firms including as Co-Chair of a firm's Intellectual Property practice, Chair of the ITC Patent Litigation practice, and Co-Chair of the Technology Industry Practice. Alex has also served as lead counsel in many notable cases before the federal district courts and the ITC. Alex has been recognized as a leading intellectual-property litigator by top law-industry reviewers including Chambers USA, Chambers Global, Legal 500, IAM Patent 1000, Super Lawyers, and his legal work has been lauded by The Washington Post.
