NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Accenture (NYSE:ACN) has completed its acquisition of First Annapolis, a privately held payments consulting and advisory firm that serves a wide range of clients globally, including leading financial institutions, retailers, travel and entertainment companies, communications/technology companies, and private-equity firms.

The acquisition expands Accenture’s consulting and digital capabilities in the payments sector. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

As part of this acquisition, First Annapolis, now part of Accenture, will bring approximately 80 professionals to the Accenture payments practice, primarily in North America. First Annapolis, headquartered in Annapolis, MD, was founded in 1991.
