Miles & Stockbridge is pleased to announce that Anitra D. Androh has been recognized by the Greater Washington Area Chapter of the National Bar Association’s Women Lawyers Division (GWAC) with its 2017 Trailblazer award, which honors distinguished attorneys whose accomplishments motivate women lawyers.

As counsel in Miles & Stockbridge’s Washington, D.C. office, Androh represents clients in commercial real estate transactions, including developers in the disposition, acquisition and development of mixed-use, commercial and residential projects.

Along with her achievements as a lawyer, Androh’s recognition as a Trailblazer commends her dedication to helping pave the way for women and people of color in real estate and the law. She is the vice president and 2015 “Member of the Year” of the DC chapter of African-American Real Estate Professionals, and she also holds leadership positions with the D.C. Building Industry Association and Commercial Real Estate Women DC, which recognized her with its 2014 Placemaking Award for her work on CityCenter DC.

Androh was selected by Miles & Stockbridge to represent the law firm as a 2016 Fellow with the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and is a past honoree of the Lawyers of Color inaugural “Hot List.” She serves on the board of New Endeavors by Women, a Washington, D.C. nonprofit organization that partners with homeless women to help them achieve greater self-sufficiency and independence.
