PressBox Lacrosse Spotlight: Bullis Attackman Alex Trippi

Bullis attackman Alex Trippi came up huge for the Bulldogs as a junior last season, finishing with 56 goals and 50 assists. He led Bullis to its first Interstate Athletic Conference title and was named the Washington Post Player of the Year. Trippi entered the season needing just more than 20 points to become Bullis' all-time leading scorer. He is committed to North Carolina.

PressBox: What did you most work on in the offseason to improve your game?

Alex Trippi: Coming from "X," I look to come up the left side, so I worked on my right-handed, on-the-run shot. I thought that would help me the most. I tried to play lacrosse as much as I could [in the fall], but I was in football season, so I was trying to do both at the same time.
