Ravens fans aren't going to get the reunion with Torrey Smith some may have been hoping for, as the wide receiver is reportedly set to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The deal is for three years at $15 million, according to reports, and Smith can sign it right away -- instead of waiting for free agency to officially begin at 4 p.m. March 9 -- because the San Francisco 49ers released him earlier this week.
When the 49ers released Smith March 6, many hoped the fan-favorite would return to Baltimore. Despite being signed by San Francisco in 2015, Smith has maintained a presence in Baltimore. In fact, his sixth-annual charity basketball game will be held at Royal Farms Arena March 19.
