Q&A: Former WWE Performer Vickie Guerrero

Few performers in WWE could generate as much heel heat with just two words as Vickie Guerrero did during her nine-year run with the company. All she had to do to infuriate the crowd was screech "Excuse me!"

Guerrero didn't become an on-air wrestling personality until she was in her late 30s, after the untimely death of her husband, WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, who died of acute heart failure at 38 in 2005. In her TV roles as a heel manager and authority figure, Guerrero admits she wasn't very good at first, but once she hit her stride, she became the woman WWE fans loved to loathe.

Guerrero made the decision to leave WWE in 2014 to focus on the next chapter of her life, which has included furthering her education -- she earned her associate's degree and now is pursuing a bachelor's degree in healthcare management -- and getting remarried in 2015. She also makes appearances at wrestling conventions and independent wrestling shows (a schedule of her upcoming appearances can be found at vickieguerrero.net).
