IOMAXIS Promotes CFO Bob Burleson to CEO

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IOMAXIS, a technology innovation leader, announced today that Bob Burleson has been promoted to serve as the company’s CEO. Burleson, who formerly served as CFO, replaces Dennis Kelly, who will remain involved with the company’s leadership in his position as Chairman of IOMAXIS’ board of advisers. In his new role, Burleson will be responsible for leading and executing IOMAXIS’ rapid growth and business expansion strategies.

Burleson’s career in business operations, financial leadership positions and mergers and acquisitions expertise spans more than three decades. Before joining IOMAXIS as its CFO, Burleson served as the CFO of Majestic Asset Trust/Paragon Systems, a $55 million company providing services in the healthcare industry. Previously, he also served as the CFO for CyberEvent LLC, a start-up created to provide IT and technical services to government customers. Additionally, he has served in leadership roles at companies including Software Process Technologies Inc., Sotera Defense Solutions, Tech Team Government Solutions and American Type Culture Collection.

In addition to his responsibilities at IOMAXIS, Burleson is on the boards of directors for Trevigen Inc., a biotechnology company, and the Biomedical Research Institute. He is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown University.

Burleson has a degree in finance from George Mason University and an MBA in accounting and finance from Marymount University.
