The University of Maryland men's basketball team is back in the top 25 in the latest AP poll, released March 6. The Terps come in at No. 25 in the AP poll but didn't receive enough votes to re-enter the top 25 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Kansas (28-3) holds on to the top spot in both polls, followed by Villanova (28-3) and UCLA (28-3).

Maryland finished the regular season with a 24-7 overall record and a 12-6 mark in Big Ten play. During the past week, the Terps defeated Rutgers, 79-59, on the road Feb. 28 and edged Michigan State, 63-60, at home March 4. Maryland enters the Big Ten Tournament as the No. 3 seed, behind No. 1 Purdue and No. 2 Wisconsin.
