Roboteam Appoints Lieutenant General Kenneth J. Glueck to its Board of Directors

GAITHERSBURG, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Roboteam Inc., the leading global provider of tactical ground robotic systems and controllers for Defense, Law Enforcement and Public Safety missions, today announced the appointment of Retired Lieutenant General Kenneth J. Glueck, Jr. to its Board of Directors. In his position, Lt. Gen. (ret.) Glueck will advise Roboteam on combat operation insights to create next-generation technology for unmanned ground vehicles (UGV) and equipment to support the Warfighter.

Prior to joining Roboteam, Lt. Gen. (ret.) Glueck served as the three-star Commanding General of the U.S. Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC) and previously to that as the Commanding General III Marine Expeditionary Force in Okinawa, Japan. As the Commanding General of MCCDC, he directed the development of doctrine, expeditionary equipment and ground vehicle requirements, and developed the Marine Corps future operational concepts. He will use his extensive experience to guide Roboteam to create the next generation robotics that will assist troops in innovative ways to achieve their mission objectives.

Throughout his 41-year career, Lt. Gen. (ret) Glueck commanded Marine Air Ground Task Forces at every level, as well as the 2d Marine Air Wing. He also served as Chief of Staff for Multi-National Force Iraq in Baghdad and as the Director of Operations and Logistics for U.S. Africa Command. Lt. Gen. (ret) Glueck is a graduate of Marine Corps Amphibious Warfare School, Marine Corps Command and Staff College and NATO Defense College, Rome, Italy. He currently serves on the North Carolina Military Foundation, Purple Heart Homes and JINSA advisory boards. He retired from the Marine Corps in October, 2015.
