Norton Rose Fulbright Names Matthew Kirtland Washington, DC Partner-in-Charge

Norton Rose Fulbright has appointed Matthew Kirtland as the Partner-in-Charge of its Washington, DC office. The global law firm opened its Washington office 90 years ago, and the office has traditionally focused on governmental, regulatory, litigation and corporate matters for its domestic and international clients.

Kirtland, who joined the firm 20 years ago, said:

Kirtland focuses his practice on dispute resolution with an emphasis on international arbitration, complex commercial litigation and white collar matters. He leads the international arbitration practice and transnational litigation practice in the Washington, DC office, and has represented corporate and individual clients from a diverse range of business sectors. His experience includes handling proceedings in multiple international arbitral institutions as well as in federal and state court both at the trial and appellate level. He received his law degree from Duke University School of Law and completed his undergraduate studies at Macalester College.
