Director Brandon Leatha to present “Investigating the Theft of Trade Secrets” in-person and via live webinar

The 60-minute, complimentary CLE from will take place Thursday, January 12, at 4:00 p.m. PST at the Association’s headquarters and via a live webinar.

Trade secrets are some of the most valuable corporate assets and with the proliferation of removable USB storage devices, cloud file synchronization solutions, mobile devices, and the Internet of Things, these digital assets are at risk of being stolen or leaked, even by trusted employees. Mr. Leatha will take an in-depth look at the use of computer forensics for investigating the theft of trade secrets.

Mr. Leatha is an expert in eDiscovery, digital forensics, and data analytics.  With over 15 years of consulting experience surrounding litigation, he advises clients throughout the eDiscovery lifecycle, providing guidance on data preservation, evidence collection, data reduction strategies, review methodology, and document production.
