The Maryland office of Lee & Associates, the largest broker-owned commercial real estate firm in the nation, announces an executive promotion in the wake of continued growth and success.
Former Senior Vice President Kate Jordan was promoted to Principal. “Kate has been vital to our company’s achievements,” said Lee & Associates Chesapeake’s President Allan Riorda, SIOR. "I was fortunate enough to have Kate as a mentee 10 years ago and she has proved herself to be a highly respected member in the commercial real estate industry. She has demonstrated numerous times her leadership abilities as well as her market knowledge and will be a critical component of our continued growth in this region".
Jordan started in CRE in 2007, and focuses primarily on industrial, office and land leasing and sales. She is currently the listing agent for 2.5 million square feet of CRE. Prior to entering commercial real estate, Jordan graduated Cum Laude from Colgate University and worked in the insurance industry. Jordan serves on the Board of Trustees of Baltimore Collegiate School for Boys, an all boy’s charter school in Baltimore City, which she help found in 2015. She recently completed a six year term on the alumnae board of her Alma Mater, Roland Park Country School. Jordan has taken an active involvement in NAIOP and was recently elected to their Board of Directors. She chaired the NAIOP Developing Leaders Committee from 2015-2016 and continues to serve on the NAIOP Community Service Committee. In 2016 she was awarded NAIOP Maryland’s “Rising Star Award” as wells as the NAIOP National’s Developing Leaders Award, which was given 20 Commercial Real Estate professionals nationwide. In 2013, Jordan was selected as one of the Baltimore Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40. She is a SIOR Candidate.
