H&R Retail, a Washington, DC/Baltimore-based retail real estate brokerage firm,announced that it represented Federal Realty Investment Trust in the purchase of a shopping center at 6464 Lincolnia Road, Alexandria, Va. (Fairfax County) for an undisclosed price.

The 14,849-square-foot center is situated on 1.6 acres and is located adjacent to Federal’s Barcroft Plaza shopping center.

Michael Gorsage and Kate Howarth with H&R Retail represented the purchaser. The center was sold by by the James M. Loftus, Jr. Irrevocable Legacy Trust and the James M. Loftus, Jr. Revocable Trust c/o Wells Fargo Private Bank.
