Kelly was honored on Thursday evening at The Daily Record’s VIP List Awards, which were held at the Pier V Hotel in downtown Baltimore.The Daily Record’s VIP List recognizes Maryland’s leaders who are 40 years old or younger based on their professional accomplishments, community service and a commitment to inspiring change. They are selected by an outside panel of judges, including previous winners and business leaders.

Kari M. Kelly has over a decade of experience counseling lenders, as well as developers, in the financing of complex real estate transactions, including transactions involving commercial real estate designated by the National Park Service as certified historic structures for which historic tax credits are available. Having worked through the financial crisis of 2008, Kari also has experience in representing lenders in workouts of troubled commercial loans, which experience Kari regularly draws on in her lending practice. Additionally, Kari advises clients in both the purchase and sale of commercial real estate investments, including the leasing of buildings being purchased by her clients.

Kari is a graduate of The University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and Bucknell University. She is a member of the Board of Trustees for Baltimore Clayworks, was the 2014 Co-Chair of the Bryn Mawr Little School Annual Fund, and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association.
