Black Girls Code has a Mission for You: "Help Inspire More Girls of Color to Learn Coding."
Capital One and Angel Hack are partnering to produce a series of one-day hackathons aimed at creating a solution for getting more women involved in tech.
The D.C.-area edition of this hackathon will take place on Aug. 27 at Capital One in Vienna, and the projects presented will benefit Black Girls Code, a program that seeks to empower young women of color in the tech space. The precise challenge? “Help inspire more girls of color to learn coding by creating a solution that enables our tech divas to imagine themselves as computer scientists.”
