Greysteel, a national commercial real estate investment services firm, announced today that Duerk Brewer has joined the firm as a Managing Director to lead and oversee the firm’s operations and Transaction Services Center. Mr. Brewer is charged with contributing to the development of Greysteel’s strategic goals and objectives.

Mr. Brewer comes to Greysteel with 17 years of industry experience. Most recently he was a Vice President at Berkadia, tasked with integrating the company’s Investment Sales and Mortgage Banking platform including the development of technology and marketing to promote cross selling and lead generation. Prior to Berkadia, Mr. Brewer was a Managing Partner at Hendricks & Partners, a multifamily investment sales firm headquartered in Phoenix, AZ. He played an instrumental role in the company’s growth from a small start-up to a large nationwide platform prior to the purchase of Hendricks & Partners by Berkshire Hathaway & Leucadia National Corporation-backed Berkadia.
