Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), under its wholly owned subsidiary Systems Made System, earned a 2016 Association of Management Consulting Firms (AMCF) Spotlight Award in the Customer Engagement category for its work on the My HealtheVet Sustainment program with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA). AMCF honored the winning companies and their clients at a celebratory dinner in New York City on June 23.

AMCF is a premier international association of management consulting firms whose mission is to promote excellence and integrity in the profession. The winners of the AMCF Spotlight Awards were determined through an extensive process, involving client and consultant interviews by a panel of independent judges and experts in the industry. AMCF assesses and determines award recipients based on their commitment to quality and professionalism; quality of client relationships; achievable measurement and qualitative results; and presentation excellence.

"Systems Made Simple has been a leading provider of healthcare data management solutions to the VA for many years," said Horace Blackman, vice president health and life sciences at Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Solutions. "We take our commitment to the VA and improving healthcare and benefits to our nation's veterans extremely seriously. This award reinforces our dedication. In fact, we are proud to have achieved one of the top five highest total scores amongst all Spotlight award categories and submissions."
